Mandate

Design and prototyping of the MQ quadrupoles and their cold masses, in collaboration with CEA-Saclay Laboratory.

Follow-up of the construction in industry of 400 series units (together with CEA-Saclay).

Procurement of components for LHC main quadrupoles and their cold masses in coordination with the CC section.

Coordination of the various components to be provided by other groups

Design and procurement of the assembly of 32 dispersion suppressor quadrupole cold masses.
